Privacy policy

This policy applies to SecureConnect VPN, operated by Switzer Enterprises, 630 Davis Street, Vacaville, CA 95688.
Our core commitment: zero logs
SecureConnect does not log, store, or retain your browsing activity, connection timestamps, assigned IP addresses, originating IP addresses, DNS queries, or any data about what you do while connected to our VPN. We cannot provide data we do not have.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. This is used solely for account authentication and communication about your service.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or bank account details. Stripe provides us with a tokenized payment reference and your billing country for tax purposes.
What we do NOT collect
- Your browsing history or DNS queries
- Your originating IP address or assigned VPN IP
- Connection timestamps or session duration
- Bandwidth usage per user
- Any metadata about your traffic
2. How we use your information
Your email address is used to send account-related communications including signup confirmation, billing receipts, renewal notices, and support responses. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data retention
Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription and for 30 days after cancellation, after which it is permanently deleted. Payment records are retained as required by applicable tax law.
4. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services in operating SecureConnect:
- Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
- Supabase — account database and authentication hosting.
- SendGrid — transactional email delivery.
Each of these providers is contractually bound to handle your data securely and not to use it for their own marketing purposes.
5. Law enforcement requests
Because we do not log connection or traffic data, we have no user activity records to provide in response to law enforcement requests. We will disclose account information (email address) only when required by a valid court order under United States law, and we will notify affected users whenever legally permitted to do so.
6. Cookies
Our marketing website uses a single session cookie for login state. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that profile individual users.
7. Your rights (California residents)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to request disclosure of personal information we hold, request deletion of personal information, and opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@secureconnect.global.
8. Security
Account data is encrypted at rest and in transit. VPN connections use WireGuard® with Curve25519 key exchange and ChaCha20-Poly1305 encryption. We conduct regular security reviews of our infrastructure.
9. Changes to this policy
We will notify registered users by email of any material changes to this privacy policy at least 30 days before they take effect.
